The IHSAA and Commissioner Bobby Cox have released a statement about Summer Participation and the Summer Moratorium week.  IHSAA Statement on Remainder of During the School Year Out of Season Activities and the Beginning of Summer.

To summarize the release:  1. The State Superintendent of Public Instruction has issued mandate remains in effect and all school facilities closed until June 30th.  2.  Schools can only hold Summer Open Facilities on campus or sites where normal school contests are held.  3.  The Summer Moratorium week that was to be the week that includes July 4th will be released so that Summer Participation can run from July 1st until August 1st.

Perry Township remains diligent and stays in contact with the DOE and the IHSAA.  We will share plans once decisions have been made for how we will proceed with our Summer Participation program.
