Perry Meridian Falcons Varsity Softball lost the lead late in a 7-4 defeat to Decatur Central on Tuesday.

Sophomore Kaylen Garland struck out five Hawks in the circle.

Perry Meridian Falcons Varsity tallied six hits in the game. Junior Eme Estes and Sophomore Paige McPhearson each collected multiple hits for the Falcons. Estes went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Falcons in hits.

The Falcons and Hawks will play again Wednesday at Holder Field (Mary Bryan Elementary) at 5:30pm.
